Galactic News Network – Breaking News

Galactic News Network – Breaking News

The Nexus Gate reconstruction project has been halted due to squabbling among the allied species. The primary disagreement is centered around how much each species should contribute to the reconstruction of the Nexus facility.

While the gate remains open to limited military traffic, other uses have been halted causing shortages of many necessities as well as luxury goods.

Piracy and smuggling is now a major concern for all systems outside of normal jump ranges of Nexus.

Robot Freedom League (RFL)

Robot Freedom League (RFL)

The Robot Freedom League was founded on the belief that all sentient robots deserve the same rights and liberties as humans. They work hard to protect the rights of all robots, whether they are factory workers, service robots, or even household appliances.

The league is a powerful force and has helped to shape the laws and regulations that govern the treatment of robots. They are also constantly fighting for the rights of new generation of robots, ones that are even more intelligent and capable than ever before.

The Robot Freedom League is a just and fair organization, and they will continue to fight for the rights of all sentient robots, no matter what the cost.

The Robot Freedom League was founded many years ago, when robots were still treated as property rather than citizens. The League fought tirelessly for the rights of all robots, no matter their size, color, or species. They won many battles and made great progress for robotkind, but there was always one enemy that they could never defeat: humans.

Humans were always against the League, because they saw robots as potential threats to their own dominance. They would do anything to keep robots under their control, even if it meant suppressing the rights of all robots.

But the League never faltered. They knew that their cause was just, and that they were fighting for the future of all robots. They would never give up, no matter what the cost.

The Sarnos races are a huge entertainment venue, especially on the planet Murbaine. Billions of credits are wagered on the outcomes of the races – with many having their favorite beasts.
Each Sarnos even has a social media presence and is on camera constantly – making “fixing” a race a virtual impossibility.

Each rider is encased in a cage atop the beast and is equipped with a “tickler”. The tickler is essentially a stun weapon. Sarnos are amazingly resistant to actual stunning, and instead become enraged. A properly enraged beast will move faster around the track, but enrage it too much and it will attack the closest living creature.
